Dark Was The Night will be released on February 17th. It's made up of 31 exclusive tracks that will be available as a double cd/triple vinyl/download. The proceeds will benefit the Red Hot Organization - an international charity using music as a vehicle to raise money and awareness for HIV and AIDS.
On Thursday 4AD began a track-by-track premiere of the Dark Was the Night compilation on their MySpace . Through February 1st, each track will be released for one day only at their MySpace and on the bands MySpace pages. They released the first track for download, and here is a decent rip I came across of the third. Buy the album and support the cause to hear all of these amazing artists in high quality.
