:OK LET'S BREAK IT DOWN!!! - OK I've been a huge GNR fan for sometime now even after all the members left and Axl went in to hiatus since "The Spaghetti Incident?" in 1993 . I find it funny that not to long ago I was at an Award Show in Toronto and Axl was just walking around with two body guards like it was just another night, like literally I turned around and he was right beside me chilling..LOL anyway back to topic "Chinese Democracy" comes out of the starting gate with a ninja kick and sledge hammer letting us know that GNR is making their return the first song "Better" is by far the best track on the album. Axl Rose delivers the raw falsetto pitched theatrical " Appetite for Destruction " that we all loved when they were prompted up by hangers and duck tape from all the drugs they did back in the day. The thing is that new listeners are going to really like "Chinese Democracy" but for those long time fans it's going to be a toss up theirs so much hype behind the album that it will never live up to, but I can honestly say that I was very sceptical in the beginning it has just been so long and the original members are all on to other projects or in rehab...."Celebrity Rehab"...lol and what was GNR without Slash?? anywho to sum up "Chinese Democracy" for new listeners it's a really good listen but for long time fans it's going to be a toss up between Really Great or Whatever , I rate GNR "Chinese Democracy" 8/10
