Tom Jones has returned to the U.S. album chart with his highest charting set in 31 years. 24 Hours premiers at number 105. The last time he was that high was 1977 with the album Say You'll Stay Until Tomorrow.

Joe Satriani is suing Coldplay, claiming that their Grammy nominated song Viva La Vida was substantially plagerized from his 2004 instrumental If I Could Fly from his album Is There Love in Space?

The new movie Cadillac Records, about the Chess label in Chicago, has received good reviews from about 2/3 of the critics. The current assessment at the review site Rotten Tomatoes shows a total of 44 good and 23 bad reviews. Many of the bad reviews site trying to put too many characters and too many story lines into the film.

The next album for Bad Religion is most likely going to be delayed until 2010. Bassist Jay Bentley said, "Graffin teaches January, February and March. Japan early April, Warped Tour in June, July and August and Australia at the end of September. So there is only November and December left for recording. There isn't much material as of now, but we could probably guess with 99% that we will be working on new material for 2010."

It looks like Neil Young's Archives project is delayed again. A new Rolling Stone article cites a March release date when most are saying it is January. According to Young, "It's old, so it doesn't really matter when it comes out."
