• Santana's Guitar Heaven Rises 20 to 19 and retakes the biggest selling album by a veteran artist.
• David Gilmour returns to the charts in a "Featuring" role on Metallic Spheres by The Orb. It debuts at 73 on the Album, 23 on the Rock Album and 3 on the Dance/Electronic Album chart. It's the only new album by a veteran artist on the Album chart.
• Living Proof by Buddy Guy premiers at 8 on the Blues Albums on the strength of radio play. The album is released this coming Tuesday.
• Volume 2 of Suzanne Vega's rerecording of her catalog, Close Up: People & Places debuts at 10 on the Folk Album chart.
