Q. Will we be hearing you bring back some of your oldest songs, things like “Shake and Pop’’?Lowe also said not to look for a reunion with Dave Edmunds and Rockpile. "I’m just too old to play that loud. I don’t like playing that sort of music. It was great fun at the time, but there’s something sort of disgusting about seeing a bunch of old guys try to do things that they did when they were kids."
A. I think the answer is no. Nothing quite that vintage. I will go back to the ’80s. We do “Ragin’ Eyes,’’ which is about ’83.
Q. Would it feel strange to play songs from the ’70s? You’re a different guy.
A. In the main, as long as I feel I can actually sing the lyric without feeling like an idiot, I’ll do it.
