- Iron Maiden's The Final Frontier drops from 1 to 3 in its second week but retains the biggest selling album in Britain by a veteran artist.
- One new album by a veteran artist debuts this week, The Greatest Hits by the Bay City Rollers. It starts at 12 and is their first charting album since Very Best of hit number 11 in April of 2004.
- Etta James' At Last jumps from 159 to 69 on the Singles chart. The record has never made the British top forty.
- One year after its original release, Whitney Houston's I Look at You retakes the top selling R&B album in Britain after moving 25 to 19.
- Steve Martin's The Crow: New Songs for the Five String Banjo jumps 20 to 5 on the Country Albums chart, giving him the highest charting album by a veteran artist in that genre.
