Our weekly recap of veteran artists on the current Canadian music charts. Chart highlights:
  • After starting out at number 2 in Australia and number 3 in the U.K., Michael Jackson has finally broken through to the top in Canada with This is It. The album is one of five by Jackson on the Album and one of 14 on the R&B Album charts.
  • Rod Stewart's latest covers album, Soulbook, also starts well, coming in at number 3 in its first week. Other debuts go to Sting's If On a Winter's Night at 11 on the album chart and Paul Rodgers + Queen's Live in the Ukraine, starting at number 33 on the Rock Album chart.
  • Anne Murray moves two albums in the the Country top 50 as The Best...So Far moves 87 to 38 and her Christmas Album debuts at 47.
