The lawyers for the Sex Pistols are threatening a suit against the Icecreamists company in London for an advertising campaign that uses a picture of the Queen backed by a Union Flag and the slogan God Save the Cream. According to the group's lawyers, the image looks too much like the sleeve from the group's God Save the Queen single.
The company also has a flavor called Sex Pistol, but that doesn't seem to be the focus of the lawyer's suit.

The Flaming Lips have reportedly recorded a complete cover of Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon and plan to release it as their next album. Wayne Coyne told the Los Angles Times, “It’s kind of redone in the way a city is redone. There’s some great old structures you never want to tear down, and you take chances next to it and you build a new futuristic museum. I would never want people to think that if you saw us three years ago, what we’re doing now has nothing to do with that.”
Madonna's done it again. This time her Manhattan neighbors are up in arms over the singer rehearsing with loud music. The neighbor is suing the building's co-op and management company.
The lawsuit reads in part "Madonna and one or more of her invited guests repeatedly dance and/or train in apartment 7A to unreasonable high decibel amplified music, causing noise and vibration to pour through the walls."
The Royal Mail in Britain will salute ten classic albums by printing their covers on stamps that will be released on January 7. The following albums have reportedly made the cut:
Paul Anka will have another song he wrote with Michael Jackson on a future Jackson album. Love Never Felt So Good was also on one of the tapes in the box where This is It was found.
The story of how Anka worked with Jackson and the aftermath can be found on the Showbiz411 site.
