- Barbra Streisand takes over the top Canadian Album by a veteran artist as her Love is the Answer moves 2 to 4. Last week's number 1, Madonna's Celebration, goes to number 5
- Only one new album by a veteran enters the top 100 albums as Roseanne Cash's The List debuts at 68. On the country albums, it starts at 8.
- Unlike other countries, the Beatles are holding on fairly strong in Canada, with Abbey Road only going 29 to 32. All told, five Beatles albums stay on the Album chart to only two by Michael Jackson.
