Todd Rundgren is being honored with an exhibit at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame just as he is premiering his full concert performance of the landmark album A Wizard/A True Star. The premier for the new show is scheduled for tonight (Sunday) and tomorrow night at the Akron Civic Theater. Also on Monday, he is making an appearance at the Rock Hall in Cleveland at 1:30 to tour the exhibit and to meet fans.
The exhibit features memorabilia from throughout Rundgren's career, from recording artist to producer. Included in the exhibit are:
- Star Fever, a Patti Smith poem included in first issues of A Wizard/A True Star, c. 1973.
- No World Order CD-ROM, the first interactive record album ever released, 1993
- Mammon, hand written lyrics from the Liars album, 2004.
- Todd Rundgren Back to the Bars Stage Outfit , c. 1978
- Utopia Promotional Ad and Backstage Passes, c. 1975
- New Cars All-Access Pass, 2007
