More than 500 Michael Jackson fans gathered outside the O2 Arena in London to memorialize the day that Jackson was supposed to start his 50-date This Is It run. While the gathering was not formal, word quickly spread among message boards and Facebook accounts.

The Hollywood Reporter has reported that A&E had contracted with the Jackson Family for a possible reality show. The pilot, which was going to air next year as a special, has already been shot and revolved around Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, Randy and Marlon as they readied a new album and tour.

It is unknown how the network's plans will change with Jackson's death. The network said in a statement "We have started discussing internally and with the family but have not yet decided what direction to take with the show. We are respecting the family's wishes right now, and at the appropriate time we will all decide what direction this program to take, so stay tuned."

A new, unauthorized biography of Paul McCartney claims that he and John Lennon wanted to reform the Beatles in 1974. In the book Paul McCartney: A Life by Peter Ames Carlin, it is claimed that McCartney visited Lennon in a Los Angeles recording studio and the two got along so well that there were discussions of a reunion show; however, when Yoko Ono got word of it, the plans were suddenly scuttled.

Meanwhile, at his weekend concert in Halifax, McCartney made a fans dream come true. Audrey McCombs held up a sign asking McCartney to sign her arm so that she could get it tattooed. He brought the woman up on stage and put his signature on the limb. McCombs said she had the tattoo done the next day.

Roger Daltrey is planning a going out on the road at the end of the year for a series of solo shows. He claims that his voice is suffering from lack of use because Who shows are few and far between. "I've got to keep singing... Singing seven gigs a year is not good enough for a singer. You've got to keep doing it, especially singing the way I sing. I could do some serious damage if I stopped, so I've got to keep going."

It looks like Zakk Wilde is out as Ozzy Osbourne's guitar player. The two have been together for over twenty years, but Osbourne told Classic Rock magazine that he is looking for a replacement. Ozzy told them "I haven't fallen out with Zakk, but Zakk's got his own band, and I felt like my stuff was beginning to sound like [Wylde's band] Black Label Society. I just felt like I wanted a change, y'know?"
