European EMI websites are listing a 10-CD/3-DVD boxset called Genesis Live 1972-2007 with a release date of September 14. The rumors are that the set will contain Live, Seconds Out, Three Sides Live, The Way We Walk and Live Over Europe, possibly with omitted tracks added. It is also expected that The Way We Walk, which was originally released as two albums (Shorts and Longs) will be put back in the original set list order.

Country great Ray Price has undergone surgery to have pre-cancerous polyps removed. Publicist Marty Martel reports that the June 23 surgery was a complete success. "Today, Ray's wife Janie who has been by his side throughout the process, reports that Ray is making a slow, steady recovery with family and friends around him. Ray is alert and wishes to thank everyone across the country who have held him, and Janie up in their prayers and to let you all know he will be back on the road in a few weeks. Thank you for all of the love, prayers and consideration."

A recent report had the Beastie Boys collaborating with Bob Dylan on their new album, Hot Sauce Committee. Mike D clarified the situation with Drowned in Sound, telling them that Dylan will be on Part 2 (no date yet). "He has a radio show on satellite and he was speaking about Beastie Boys… So we collaborated with that."
