- Chickenfoot spends its third week as the highest charting album in Canada by a veteran artist, dropping from 5 to 14.
- George Harrison's Let It Roll compilation debuts at number 18 while the not-so-real supergroup, Spinal Tap, have returned at number 41 (and number 4 on the Hard Rock chart) with Back From the Dead.
- Sonic Youth's The Eternal takes a huge drop from number 32 in its debut week to 108.
- Hank Williams, Jr. gets a nice start on the Country Album chart as 127 Rose Avenue premiers at 15.
