Posted 8 months ago
The track list for the new George Harrison collection, Let It Roll: The Songs of George Harrison, has been released and will probably be the subject of a lot of discussion.

Three Beatles-era songs are included (While My Guitar Gently Weeps, Something, Here Comes the Sun), all recorded live at the Concert For Bangladesh. Missing are such songs as Bangla-Desh, Dark Horse, Ding Dong Ding Dong, You, This Song and Crackerbox Palace, all of which were top 40 hits in either the U.S. or the U.K.

The new album will hit stores June 16.

The track list:
  • Got My Mind Set On You
  • Give Me Love (Give Me Peace On Earth)
  • The Ballad Of Sir Frankie Crisp (Let It Roll)
  • My Sweet Lord
  • While My Guitar Gently Weeps (Live - Concert For Bangladesh Soundtrack)
  • All Things Must Pass
  • Any Road
  • This Is Love
  • All Those Years Ago
  • Marwa Blues
  • What Is Life
  • Rising Sun
  • When We Was Fab
  • Something (Live - Concert For Bangladesh Soundtrack)

Update (Thursday, April 29, 11:35 PM): There are reports now that Amazon may have been premature in posting the track list for this album. A source at Capitol/EMI has stated this is not the final track list; however, the correct one will be released soon.

Update (Tuesday, May 5, 11:45 PM): The official press release for the album has come out and this, indeed, is the correct track listing.
