YOU CAN'T NOT GET NO SATISFACTION

Delfonics/Blue Magic Founder Passes Away, Nicks Nixes Lohan, more

Posted 7 months ago
Randy Cain, founding member of the Delfonics, passed away on Thursday at the age of 63. The cause of death is unknown.

Cain formed the group with William and Wilbert Hart in the early-60's, scoring their biggest hits during the late-60's and early-70's with La-La-Means I Love You, Ready or Not Here I Come and Didn't I (Blow Your Mind This Time). Cain left the group in 1971, replaced by Major Harris.

Randy was also the person who brought singer-songwriter Ted Mills together with the group Shades of Love to form Blue Magic.

Stevie Nicks has made it clear how she feels about tabloid queen Lindsay Lohan playing her in a biopic. "Over my dead body. She needs to stop doing drugs and get a grip. Then maybe we'll talk."

Depeche Mode will close down Hollywood Boulevard on April 23 for a live show. Two of the songs will be broadcast live on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

Country's John Anderson will release his new album, Bigger Hands, on June 9 via Country Crossing Records. Look for the single Cold Coffee & Hot Beer next month.

George Strait's movie, Pure Country, is being transferred to the Broadway stage and current country singer Joe Nichols is the front runner for the lead role. This will probably give CMT a reason to show the movie four times a week instead of the currently scheduled two.
