It's looking like Spandau Ballet will be announcing their reunion on Wednesday in London as the group has invited the media to a press conference.
Group member Tony Hadley told Britain's Sunday People, "...the boys are back in town."
“It's going to be brilliant, we're very excited. But it will be very different to how we used to be. Obviously there'll be all the hits, the nostalgia, but there will also be a new take on what Spandau Ballet are about.”
Paul McCartney has joined the International Board of Advisors for The One Voice Movement. The group is working to help the cause of a two state solution to the conflict between Israel and Palestine.
Said McCartney, "Having met representatives of the association OneVoice, I was impressed, first of all, by the fact that half of the organization is Palestinian and half is Israeli. Almost 650,000 people have signed on to their manifesto, supporting their steadfast work to bring about a negotiated solution, and peace in the region."
Martha Reeves sang the Star Spangled Banner to kick off a 10-day concert in Detroit saluting the American auto worker. AJ's Music Cafe in Ferndale is putting on the 240-hour show.
The Human League will be performing their album Dare in its entirety during their Australian tour.
The Kennedy Center has announced it's Spring Gala, A Celebration of Women in the Arts, for May 3. Participating from the music world will be Reba McEntire, LeAnn Rimes, Patti Labelle and k.d. lang.
Michael Martin Murphey has been elected to the Texas Country Music Hall of Fame with modern artists Linda Davis and Neil McCoy.
Metallica's James Hetfield has told MTV what acts he thinks should be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Here's an article from the Boston Globe on a treasure trove of hundreds of concerts by country greats that were unearthed last year in southern Pennsylvania.

"Motorhead, for sure, Deep Purple, Rush, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden and even stuff before that ... Steppenwolf. It's crazy that Ted Nugent is not there; that dude is about as rock and roll as it gets. Alice Cooper, Kiss ... that's a pretty good list. These are bands that represent history and mean a lot to so many people. I think that alone means they should be in there too."
