The Who have announced that they will be giving $25 from every ticket sold for their March 29 Australian Grand Prix performance in Melbourne the the Victorian Bushfire Appeal.

Michael Jackson is reportedly heading back into the studio to record additional new tracks before his London residency and he has called on will.i.am and Ne-Yo to give him a hand. Britain's News of the World also says that Kanye West has sent in a track for Jackson to review.

Queen's original EP is being reissued in a limited 3,000 copy run for the U.K.'s Record Store Day on April 14. It will only be available at stores officially participating in the one day celebration.

Seven reels of silent 8mm film have been found that were shot at Deep Purple's August 1972 concert that was used for the Made in Japan album. Unfortunately, the majority of the reels are just short excerpts from the various songs; however, a 90-second shot from the group's performance of Highway Star has been synched with the sound and will be included on the June release, History, Hits and Highways.

Altovise Davis, widow of Sammy Davis, Jr., passed away Saturday in Los Angeles at the age of 65. The pair met in 1967 while both were appearing in the Broadway production of Golden Boy and were married in 1970. She is survived by her adopted son, Manny.
