Mick Fleetwood has said that Fleetwood Mac will record another album as soon as they are done touring. "I have three hairs left. If they don't all fall out following the tour, we've talked about recording again. I don't think we want to just sit around for another five years. We're all healthy, we still have loads of energy. Plus, some of us still have mortgages to pay."
Jimi Hendrix' teenage home in Renton, Washington may go under the demolition ball. The current owner has until June 27 to move the structure or it will be destroyed.
It wouldn't be the first move for the home. In 2006, it was taken from Seattle's central district to a mobile home park across the street from where the guitar great is buried.
James Hetfield of Metallica is out of the hospital after a case of severe food poisoning that caused the group to cancel Saturday's show in Stockholm, Sweden. The band was about to take the stage when Hetfield was transported to the hospital, forcing the remaining group members to tell the 16,000 in attendance that the show was off.
The Melvins are celebrating their 25th Anniversary with a series of four shows (New York (5/15), Boston (5/16), Chicago (5/18), Austin (5/20)) that will bring back former members.
During the first set of each show will include the original line-up of Buzz Osborne, Dale Crover (bass) and Mike Dillard (drums). The second set of the night will be Buzz, Dale and Trevor Dunn (bass player for Fantomas, MadLove, Mr. Bungle) and will feature the album Houdini in its entirety.
Tanya Tucker has been on a temporary retirement after the passing of her father and manager, Beau Tucker, in 2006. She is back on June 6 with My Turn, an album of classic songs that she was taught by her Dad. Guests on the album include the Grascals, Rhonda and Darrin Vincent and Jim Lauderdale.
