Yes Cancels Two-Weeks Worth of Shows

Yes announced the cancellation of all performances over the next two weeks on their website on Thursday:

February 12, 2009 - In the Present Tour Update

Due to unforeseen medical reasons, the "In The Present Tour," featuring Yes' Steve Howe, Chris Squire, and Alan White is cancelling shows through February 24 (San Diego).

The band wishes to apologize for any inconvenience that this might have caused to their fans and hopes to see them again soon.

No further details were given on the medical situation.

The current tour has been controversial from the start as it was decided to go forward even though frontman Jon Anderson had to drop out due to acute respiratory failure.

Included in the cancellations was a Wednesday radio appearance and Portland, Vancouver, Spokane, Seattle, Boise, Las Vegas, Anaheim and San Diego.
