CBC's Radio 2 has an on-line poll currently running to pick the "49 Songs From North of the 49th Parallel" that best define Canada for president-elect Obama.
"One of the best way to know Canada is through the depth and breadth of our artistic expression," says Denise Donlon, Executive Director, CBC Radio. "We're excited about the new President and we want him to be excited about us, so we're asking our audience to help compile the list of our most definitive Canadian songs!"
So, from now until January 16 at 8 PM ET, you can pick your favorites from a compiled list of 100. The 49 songs selected will be played throughout the day on January 20, Inauguration Day. Go to the CBC's site to vote.
