Eno, Lange Up For UK Production Awards

The nominations have been announced for the first annual Music Producers Guild Awards in the U.K.

Among veterans nominated are Brian Eno (right) , Haydn Bendall (engineer for Greg Lake, Camel, Kate Bush ), Ray Staff (mastering for Mott the Hoople, Black Sabbath , the Clash ) and Robert John "Mutt" Lange (producer for AC/DC, Foreigner, Cars ).

The winner of the Producer of the Year will also receive the equivalent award at this year's Brits.

The awards will be presented on February 12 at the Cafe de Paris in London.
