what exactly does Khaled do? he seems very motivational and well-connected, judging from the videos/tunes/albums he's involved in. "I'm So Hood" the remix was in my top 5 fave tunes of 2007, so i'm not dissin. i just can't figure out what his role is.
Does he produce the music? Bankroll the recording and filming? Perhaps he has the stickiest weed south of the Mason-Dixon border. His b-day bashes sound pretty dope too...
i've often asked the same thing. i haven't nailed it down yet...but I'm pretty sure it goes something like this:
1. Get popular artists together to do a song
2. Yell during that song.
that's all i've pieced together as well. but man, he can pull some bad-ass mo-fo's into a tune when it's time! The video for that "Hood" remix had at least 2 major players in the visual for every 1 you heard on the track. Like peeps were just lining up to get in it, or they all just happened to work on the same block that day...
DJ Khaled produces some of the tracks on his album (but not all of them)... Other than that he just walks around being annoying.
