There's always a danger that music will be labelled "ambient", this is the kiss of death is mis-applied, it basically says that the composition is good, but no one will want to pay attention to it. Such a charge can often be levied at bands from the indie-max-2000 mass production machine, hundreds of songs which looks as though they've been designed with the specific intent to be background music in an episode of Skins, or one of those hateful independent films.
