Say what you like about oppressive, totalitarian governments, they sure are good for the art world. Nothing beats injustice, corruption and David and Goliath astories for inspiration. Now though, we find ourselves emerging from the shadow of the Bush years - a period so fraught with tension that even Green Day could make a solid album dealing with the topic - into a world abounding with hope.
