Here's a photograph of my front door's peephole. Indeed, I may have watched Amélie one too many times while scrubbing my flat this weekend. My Saturday was spent with beautiful french dialogue, airy open windows, pink ginger limeade, scissors, card stock, and a deep red sharpie.



If you nest and play in the Bay Area, I have news: The French American Cultural Society is teaming up with the San Francisco Film Society to present French Cinema Now, a seven-day film festival presenting the latest works from modern French cinema. I'll be at a halloween party on Saturday, but I hope to see a film or two on Sunday afternoon—here's to my bright, rejuvenated mind after consuming loads of candy corn & sugary cocktails. Wishful thinking?
