Listen: Jay-Z's New Song Premiere @ Hope For Haiti Telethon

Posted 6 months ago

Jay-Z, Rihanna, and Bono & The Edge of U2 premiered a new song titled Stranded [Haiti Mon Amour] at the Hope For Haiti telethon tonight. While it was great to see so many stars performing old classic songs, I thought it was absolutely awesome that Hov & the gang created something entirely new for tonight's broadcast. Take a listen

100% of proceeds from the sale of the Hope For Haiti Now album and any of its individual live performance tracks will go to Clinton Bush Haiti Fund, Oxfam America, Partners In Health, Red Cross, UNICEF, United Nations World Food Programme, and Yéle Haiti Foundation. 100% of proceeds from the sale of the individual studio track, "Stranded (Haiti Mon Amour)," featuring Jay-Z, Bono, The Edge, and Rihanna, will benefit Partners In Health.

The song will be available on iTunes, January 25th.

This is so bad I don’t think we even know how to comprehend what is happening over there. You know we are so used to the “Hollywood Disasters” that we forget that a disaster in real life lasts more than 2 hours! And those who survived will never be the same again. But whatever you wanna say about Movie Stars and Celebrities when it comes to this Haiti appeal   they really are doing good…we can be proud.                                                                  This really brought it Home to me…
