Gene Simmons Starts Canadian Record Label, Hates on the Doubters

KISS' Gene Simmons has signed on with Universal Music Canada to form Simmons Records, which will find the self proclaimed " God of Thunder " signing and developing Canadian bands. Simmons goes on, " We're going to find, develop, nurture and launch new talent emanating from? CANADA!!! Even if Simmons can't turn some quartet from Winnipeg into the next Beatles, at least he can always make us laugh.

Canada has produced some amazing talent in it's time, especially of late. You may want to re-word your entry, " . . . at least he can always make us laugh." I think it sends the wrong idea. Or . . . if that's what you sincerely believe, maybe Simmons will get the last laugh.
In this time of dire straights with regard to the music indusrty, it's refreshing to see that someone has the balls to consider A/D. (Artist Development). Hats off to Gene!
