Interpol Returns For Fourth Record

Artist:

After spending the greater portion of the past year off of everyone's radar, Interpol has returned to announce they will be recording their fourth album at some point this year.
Although details are sketchy at best right now, they have posted on their site,
Now the band has reconvened, and we are rehearsing new songs.Since releasing Our Love To Admire in the summer of 2007, the group then toured for about a year before silence fell upon Interpol. During that silence though, Sam Fogerino (drums) recorded an album as a part of Magnetic Morning and Carlos D. (bass) helped produce a film.
We find ourselves marveling at the tremendous focus
that has defined our early rehearsals for this, our 4th effort.
Interpol signed with Capitol Records before recording Our Love To Admire, but before that they released two records off of Matador Records - Turn On the Bright Lights and Antics. For breaking news that the group doesn't post publicly, check out their forum on interpolnyc.com.
