United Colors of Benatar

-Alicia "Sleepytime Bear " Keys is featured in this month's Vanity Fair, which I can't seem to find online. BUT! While searching around I came across an article which says that she is rumored to be engaged to her boyfriend producer Kerry "Krucial " Brothers and that her friends gave her the nickname 'AK-47 'because she "kills em dead" when she performs. This is why she's sometimes seen wearing an AK-47 charm around her neck. And, also, because a pendant of a can of Raid wouldn't look nearly as badass.

-Yesterday I was shopping at Bristol Farms and as I turned the corner into the dairy aisle I almost bumped basket-first into none other than the legendary Pat Benatar. I have encounters like this from time to time but rarely this close-up and potentially injurious! Usually when you run into celebs they're much tinier and skinnier and plastic than you'd think. Ms. Benatar was very sweet-seeming, looked fantastic, w/ perfect hair and makeup...a petite rock mama in an all black ensemble with hip tee-shirt who honestly doesn't look all that much different than she did when this came out:
