Yeah sure there are a ton of shows coming to L.A. but, Lord Timbaland, if you're listening, the person I'd most like to see live and in the flesh anytime soon is Dan Deacon. He's the only one I can think of who has been doing anything of sonic significance over the past year.

What's Deacon been up to?

++Playing at Lollapalooza..

++...and Skate Parks...(are artists required to sing and skate at the same time, I wonder.. One could wish.)..

++ ..and will be playing Cat's Cradle in NC for $10 on October 1st. Without a stage, of course, per new policy.

++Promoting Irish (vowel-taker) and musician "Caoimhin O’Raghallaigh" and explaining the meaning of Woof Woof:
