TOOL: Live at All Points West Festival

A review of TOOL's performance at All Points West Music & Arts Festival by guest blogger Jake.

What can i say! It was nothing less than absolutely amazing. We got there with six people and by the time the opening of Jambi roarer through Liberty State park, it was just two. We didn't bother avoiding the mud from the previous days rain, all geared up with commando boots [which i had to decontaminate and is still sitting in my foyer smelling like a pile of shit]. We trekked those muddy fields, past an amazing electro performance (which I assume was Crystal Castles) and made a bee-line to Tool.Upon deciding we were too far away from the magic on stage we began to maneuver the crowds. I steed over this huge dude and suddenly, smak! We were thrown from one end to another end of a circle, my first Tool mosh pit! We kept on going in, mud falling all over us...who could ask for more! It was fucking amazing.
