Scott Bernstein: How much has Jam Cruise changed from your first cruise to last year’s cruise?

Karl Denson: Not that much. The jam room has changed the most. It’s gotten wilder and later every year.

SB: What’s your favorite Jam Cruise moment?

KD: I think that would be Jam Cruise 1 - hanging out in the Bahamas with my family.

SB: Are there any artists on this year’s cruise that you are especially looking forward to interacting with?

KD: Maceo Parker and The Word

SB: Any advice for those attending the cruise for the first time?

KD: Same advice I always give for partying, PACE YOURSELF
