mixtape-1

We kick things off with the psychedelic sounds of West Indian Girl, who hail from just down the coast in LA, with Miles From Monterey - they hit the Twin Peaks stage at Friday at 1 PM. From there, we’ve got She’s A Lady from none other than legendary Welch crooner Tom Jones. This guy has sold over 100 million records and honestly, when are you ever going to get a chance to catch him again? Jones hits the Sutro Stage at 6:50 Friday night, watch out for all the flying panties.

Next up, we’ve got Oblivion from new metal sensations Mastodon. Forget about your preconceived notions about metal music, these guys bring a new twist with complex prog-style playing and some hard hitting lyrics - be at the Twin Peaks stage at 3:55 on Saturday for their set. We follow that up with A Minha Menina from Brazilian Tropicali legends Os Mutantes. Head on over to the Sutro Stage for their 4:50 slot.

Then, we’ve got some local music for you with Waiting For A War from the Berkley-based band The Morning Benders - who you can check out Sunday at the Panhandle Solar Stage 1:30. Finally, we close things out with some hip hop with Shoulda Known courtesy of Atmosphere. The rap-duo of Ant and Slug play the Twin Peaks Stage at 2:15 Sunday afternoon.
