Modern Guitars Magazine has a pretty good interview with Randy Bachman . On Rory Gallagher :
I remember doing a gig with Rory Gallagher. He showed up in a golf shirt and nice slacks. Before he went out to play, he grabbed his ripped jeans, his faded flannel shirt and put on old shoes, so he would look like a rock 'n' roll street guy. Gave him more cred.
