Prioneering heavy bass player Dickie Peterson has passed away in Germany.
Dickie Peterson, the bassist/vocalist and founding member of Blue Cheer,passed away Monday morning (October 12) at 5 a.m. in Germany. He was 61years old. Peterson had reportedly been battling prostate and livercancer, and according to Blue Cheer's message board, had developed a fatalinfection following a surgical procedure to help alleviate his fight.
