It's no secret that Dallas native Erykah Badu is a fixture at just about every respectable hip-hop show that rolls through town. I've seen her join in on performances by Outkast, Digable Planets, Common, the Roots , and others over the last 10 years or so. But if I would've known that Ms. Badu was going to show up at the Palladium last night to help out on My Morning Jacket 's cover of her live fave "Tyrone ," I totally would've actually gone.
