WHERE MUSIC LISTENS TO YOU

Justice: Across the Universe review

Posted 11 months ago

Got a copy of the much anticipated Justice : Across the universe CD/DVD. And like a kid on christmas I watched it immediately. Only difference was i woke up at 1pm as opposed to 6am.

The 60 minute documentary movie is I guess satisfying enough. While watching it, it became clear to me that DJ/ Producers like Justice are the rock band of this era. Which also made me think, "will we be listening to Justice when we are 50 years old or so like our parents do with the Rolling Stones or beatles????"

Justice are great producers and at the mo, i'm obsessed with the live set on Across the universe. However, after watching the documentary I lost respect for them just as people. But, this was a 60 min glam film set to show the crazy side of touring. Some of the stuff they do, you can see they purely get away with because of their fame. aka lighting a girls hair on fire or bottling a harmless drunk guys. its insightful regardless so I would suggest purchasing.
