The Fratellis have announced the forthcoming release of a "Christmas single".
The single, which the band described to the Daily Record as "the most depressing Christmas single ever", will be released December 22.
The single, 'A Heady Tale ', is taken off the band's second album, 'Here We Stand '.
Frontman John Fratelli said of the single, "It has a Christmas -sounding melody with the most depressing sounding lyrics ever."
