Weezer, Franz Ferdinand For Free Virgin Mobile Festival

Weezer, Franz Ferdinand, and Jet have been announced to play Baltimore’s forthcoming Virgin Mobile Festival.
Despite rampant rumors that the festival would not take place this year due to the down economy, organizers have announced that the event will in not only go on, but will be free.
The festival will now take place over one day, August 30 and will now take place at Baltimore’s Merriweather Post Pavilion.
Also set to play the one-day bash is The Bravery, Taking Back Sunday, Girl Talk, Public Enemy, and Mates of State.
