FINALLY! The Strokes Start Working On New Album

The Strokes have reportedly begun writing material for the bands much anticipated fourth album.
Speaking to BBC 6music drummer Fabrizio Moretti revealed that both frontman Julian Casablancas and guitarist Nick Valensi had begun writing material for the new album.
"Julian has started writing and Nick has got some material as well. We're the kind of band that it's not finished until everyone's in one room and everyone's got their parts perfectly," said Moretti .
The drummer also confirmed reports that the band would get together next month to work on the fourth album and follow-up to 2006's 'First Impressions Of Earth '.
"I have to go back to New York to work with The Strokes for the next record in February."
