MUSIC NEWS - Recently reunited classic 1980s power pop band, The Cars have released word on when to expect their new album.  The reformed Boston based rockers are scheduled to appear at Coachella and they’ve been working for some time now on the anticpated seventh album that's entitled Move Like This.

The first single, Sad Song (watch clip below) will be out in mid-March with the full album out on May 10 via Concord Music.

The band had a string of hits from their six studio albums between 1978 & 1988.  Singer and guitarist Ric Ocasek spent most of the years since then producing classic albums from acts such as Bad Brains, Weezer, Hole, Bad Religion and No Doubt and his own solo albums.   In 1997 he said about a Cars reunion “I’m saying never and you can count on that,”.  Oh, never mind...
