MUSIC NEWS - Denver rockers, The Fray have announced song details for their much anticipated second release, hitting February 3, 2009 on Epic Records. The initial single "You Found Me " has already gotten a great response from its digital release. The song came from problems that singer Isaac Slade's friends and family experienced, caused him to confront the age-old question of why bad things happen to good people. Another song, "Enough for Now ," deals with the response to his grandfather's death.
The new "The Fray " release was produced by Epic VP of A&R Mike Flynn and Aaron Johnson, as was their intial release. Slade recently told Billboard that it's "a little more extreme than the last record," "The quieter stuff is a little quieter than our last record and the rock stuff is a little rockier. It definitely spreads the spectrum a little bit." The band has booked some club dates early next year to show off the new stuff. Check 'em out staritng on January 6, 2009 in their hometown of Denver, CO, with dates thru the final February 4 gig in NYC. The NYC show will be cybercast on the band's thefray.net if you can't get to the Big Apple !
The new album is the follow-up to their best selling, "How to Save a Life " (2005). Tour details on The Fray here , and check out their You Found Me video -
