THE RED JUMPSUIT APPARATUS Take to the Lonely Road

MUSIC NEWS - Florida rockers, The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, have given themselves a busy winter season right thru their new release, "Lonely Road ", on February 3 via Virgin Records. Lonely Road is their followup to the huge 2006 release, Don't You Fake It . They kick off a US headlining tour on January 9, 2009 in Tallahassee, FL. The tour, for the alt-rock/screamo/pop-pun/metal band is below, and currently has them in eighteen club/theater gigs from the Midwest on to the East Coast into February. Tours of Australia and Southeast Asia will follow, according to their press release.

"Lonely Road " was recorded at the Los Angeles-area studio of producer Howard Benson (My Chemical Romance, Daughtry). The album's lead single, "You Better Pray," has scored the band a hit already on modern-rock radio and is streaming at Red Jumpsuit Apparatus' MySpace page . Their "...Fake It" release gave us the rock/pop crossover hit "Face Down," a plea against domestic violence that provided us an introduction to a band that's committed to bringing attention to social issues. RJA has been active in raising funds and awareness for causes including teen-suicide prevention, mental-health parity and domestic violence. "We've honestly always felt blessed, and the best way to give back is to ... give back!" frontman Ronnie Winter explained in a statement. "Don't talk about it. Just do it. So our motto of, 'Doing good for no good reason' will always apply to this specific band, The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus."
