ROCK and ROLL HALL of FAME 25th Anniversary Concerts Lose Clapton, Springsteen in Doubt

MUSIC NEWS - WithBruce Springsteen's appearance at the October 29 show at Madison Sqaure Garden in doubt, ERIC CLAPTON, 64,has announced that he will be unable to appear due to gallstone sugery. Bruce cancelled his show last night in Kansas Citydue tothe death of a cousin, a road crew member.

A statement released from Clapton's team said Eric"will spend time recuperating at home in the UK and is very sorry to disappoint the fans and the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame,"

Both rockers were scheduled to play at the two-day NYC celebration for the Rockand Rock and Roll Hall of Fame 25th Anniversary Concerts at Madison Square Garden. Others on the bill include U2, Metallica, Ozzy Osbourne, Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin, BB King, and more !
