CHARLOTTE GAINSBOURG New IRM Tune - Listen

    MUSIC NEWS - French singer/songwriter/actor Charlotte Gainsbourg has announced that her forthcoming album, IRM will be out January 2010 via Because Music/Elektra, and is offering a free download of the title track at her site, CharlotteGainsbourg.com.  The album's first "official" single will the Gainsbourg-Beck duet, "Heaven Can Wait".  IRM is her first release in four years and her follow up to 5:55.

Beck is producing her new work, and when she began planning it,  she thought Beck would be the perfect producer for the musically adventurous and diverse approach she had in mind.  From the first casual hours together in the studio, she recognized a shared sensibility and the potential for a collaboration that would be both free and seamless.   She's thrilled to have his involvement and we look forward to more from the pair.
