MUSIC NEWS- Just four months after the departure of drummer Derrick Frost, Michigan indie rockers, Chiodos say goodbye to another member. This time, they've given singer Craig Owens the boot. This termination was revealed thru a statement by the band posted on their MySpace, noted by the Aquarian Weekly.
“To all our friends, family, and fans: We could like to let you know that we have let Craig Owens go as the singer of Chiodos. This decision was a necessary one. Out of respect for all the hard work that we have put in together for all of these years we will not be discussing the specific reasons that this needed to happen. We wish Craig well. We will absolutely be continuing on as a band and we will keep you informed as this next chapter unfolds.”
Back in May, the band was a little more gentle when it discussed the exit of Frost, when they wrote, “We've got nothing but love for the guy, we just feel it is the right move at this time as a band. Don't worry, there was no crazy drama or anything of the sort that needs everyone freaking out about. We are parting on good terms and are very thankful for the time and dedication the Derrick has given us and our fans over the past years.”
Chiodos just wrapped up a run on the Vans Warped Tour and the members still in the band are going to hit the studio soon to start recording a new album.
