THE VERONICAS Announce Fall Tour, Opening for Kelly Clarkson

MUSIC NEWS - After wrapping up their sexy “Revenge Is Sweeter” summer headlining tour, the Aussie rock band The Veronicas are heading back on the road this autumn supporting Kelly Clarksonon her “All I Ever Wanted” tour, along with a string of their own headlining dates.
The tour, which kicks off in Portland, ME, on October 4, will bring The Veronicas to NYC on October 6 (Hammerstein Ballroom) before finishing up in Pensacola, FL on December 11 (full itinerary below). The band, fronted by 24-year-old twins Lisa and Jessica Origliasso, have been touring across the USA all summer to promote their current album Hook Me Up. (out via Sire Records).
Hook Me Up (released in 8/08) has given us the hit single “Untouched,” which has gone platinum after selling 1.5 million downloads. Soon to be released is a special version of “Take Me On The Floor” featuring Pitbull, who is known for his current hits “I Know You Want Me” and “Hotel Room Service.”
