Eddie Van Halen Sues Nike Over Sneaker Squabble

     MUSIC NEWS- As MNN reported back in April, guitarist Eddie Van Halen signed a deal with Converse to come out with his EVH Frankenstein line of sneakers.  Well, now that Nike has put out their Dunk Low  line, Eddie in not too happy and his representatives have filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles against the shoe giant, NIKE reports, Footwear News.  Eddie's team alledges that the design of certain Nike Dunk Low styles infringes on the copyright Eddie holds for the red-white-and-black-striped pattern Van Halen made famous on his “Frankenstein” guitar,  and for which the musician has held the copyright since 2001.  See Eddie's shoes below, buy them, here.
