QUEEN + PAUL RODGERS is Over !

MUSIC NEWS - Rock singer, Paul Rodgers, who was enlisted to take the impossible job of replacing Freddie Mercury in QUEEN, giving us QUEEN + PAUL RODGERS, recently told VH1 Classic Radio that he and the band were done. He said; "We did a world tour, we did a second tour of Europe and the Far East and eastern Europe and a [2008] studio album, and I think we're kind of leaving it there gently," Rodgers joined up with Queen back in 2004, replacing the legendary frontman Freddie Mercury, who died in 1991. But, they do have another release, following on the cooly received Cosmos Rocks. Their final project will be the upcoming Queen + Paul Rodgers Live in the Ukraine CD/DVD release due out June 16.

But, Paul Rodgers has another reunion to attend, the previously reported Bad Company reunion tour of the US this summer!
