Jane's Addiction's PERRY FARRELL Hospitalized After Gig

MUSIC NEWS - Jane's Addiction singer, Perry Farrell had to be taken to a local hospital after a gig in Atlanta, GA over the weekend. Apparently, he tore a calf muscle during a performance at the Lakewood Amphitheatre on Sunday night. The rocker ripped themuscle during the first song of the set and limped along through the rest of the show. He stayed on to complete the concert, but was treated at the Atlanta Medical Centre after the concert was over, and was told by doctors to stay off his leg for several days. The band's publicist released a statement saying that the injury won't keep Farrell from joining Jane's on stage for the rest of the tour (see itinerary after the break). We'll see about reports for tonight's Austin, TX show. The band recently released, A Cabinet of Curiosities, a 3-CD/1-DVD box set featuring over 2 hours of unreleased and rare tracks, including demos, B-sides, and live recordings !

Props for completing the gig! There would be a lot of disappointed people here in Austin if the NIN/JA gig was sans Perry.
